Preservation Lecture at ARCHIP in Prague

Diane Al Shihabi (Interior Design) and Mikesch Muecke (Architecture) were invited by Regina Loukotova, the Director of the Architectural Institute in Prague (ARCHIP), to present a lecture on their current research and teaching related to the new Preservation and Cultural Heritage program in the College of Design.

Al Shihabi and Muecke presented the lecture, titled Preservation and Cultural Heritage Curriculum Development: A Case Study in Design Education at the Intersection of History and Technology to a group of ARCHIP faculty and students from Turkey, Syria, and Iraq as well as other European countries on Wednesday, 14 March 2018 at the ARCHIP facility in Prague.

The lecture was co-sponsored by ARCHIP as well as the European Union Structural and Investment Fund.
